Cook or reheat shellfish to a minimum internal temperature of 145Β°F (63Β°C). Crab meat should be hot throughout, firm, and opaque.
Keep raw seafood separate from ready-to-eat foods and refrigerate leftovers within 2 hours, or within 1 hour when temperatures are above 90Β°F.
Warm the Garlic Sauce separately and serve it in individual dipping bowls. The sauce is for dipping the sweet crab meat after the shells are cracked.
Shop Garlic Sauce βAdd the water, lemon slices, crushed garlic, bay leaves, seafood seasoning and Cajun seasoning to a large pot. Bring the mixture to a strong simmer.
