Sisterly Kitchen was born from family, seafood, weekend crab tables, and the desire to make every bite just a little more special.
Long before Sisterly Kitchen had a name, seafood was already woven into part of our family’s story.
Co-founder Felecia Freeman’s roots reach back to Harris Neck, Georgia, a coastal community where her McIntosh family built a life connected to the water.
Her grandfather, Christopher McIntosh, built the McIntosh Crab Plant, continuing a tradition centered around crabbing and the coastal waters of Harris Neck.
That connection continued through her uncle, Ernest McIntosh, whose work on the water carried the family’s seafood tradition forward through crabbing and oyster farming.
For Felecia, seafood was never something distant from family life. It was part of the history she came from.

Our mother, Pat Wright, has always loved crabs. For us, weekends often meant a table full of crabs, family, laughter, and conversations that could go on for hours.
Around her table, we talked, laughed, shared life, and picked crabs until our fingers were sore. Food brought us together, and those weekends became some of our favorite memories.
Over time, we started experimenting with different sauces to make those seafood nights even better. We tried, tasted, adjusted, and kept going until we created flavors we loved.
Sisterly Kitchen grew from those moments — our mother's love of crabs, our family's tradition of gathering, and our desire to create sauces that make every seafood experience a little more special.
Food has always been more than a meal in our family. It's how we connect, laugh, and create memories that last.
Sisterly Kitchen brings together three sisters, each contributing something different to a business rooted in the food, gatherings, and traditions we grew up loving.
